This causes the fluid to expand and become less dense. The hotter, less dense fluid then rises, and cooler, denser fluid moves in to take its place. This circulation of fluids continues, transferring heat energy throughout the system.

3. Radiation

Radiation is the transfer of heat through electromagnetic waves, such as infrared radiation. It does not require a medium and can travel through empty space.

In radiation, heat energy is emitted in the form of electromagnetic waves. These waves travel through space at the speed of light and can be absorbed by any object with the ability to emit and absorb radiation.
